Although he was initially scheduled to lead Sonyโs Spider-Man Universe in the summer, Kraven the Hunterโs release date has been pushed back. The next SSU installment will explore the origin story of Spider-Manโs titular villain, who discovers his ability to communicate with animals and uses it to hunt down his criminal father after he is left for dead during a hunting. Aaron Taylor-Johnson leads the cast of Kraven the Hunter alongside Russell Crowe, Ariana Debose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola and Levi Miller.

Sony Pictures has announced that the release date for Kraven the Hunter has been delayed. The latest installment in Sonyโs Spider-Man Universe was originally scheduled to be released on August 30 and will now hit theaters on December 13, almost four months after its previous date. This now places the filmโs release after the SSU title Venom: The Last Dance, which is currently scheduled for release on October 25.
