Tim Conway: The Master of Sketch Comedy and Unscripted Laughter

Tim Conway was a legendary American comedian, actor, and writer whose brilliant physical humor and impeccable comedic timing made him one of television's most beloved figures.

Rising to prominence in the 1960s on the sitcom McHale's Navy, he is best remembered for his iconic, Emmy Award-winning run on The Carol Burnett Show throughout the 1970s.

Conway became famous for his legendary ad-libs and his unique ability to make his co-stars break character in fits of uncontrollable laughter on live television.

Whether playing the slowly shuffling "Old Man," the bumbling Mr. Tudball, starring in the Dorf sports comedy videos, or voicing Barnacle Boy in SpongeBob SquarePants for a newer generation, Conway's six-decade career cemented his legacy as a true master of joy and improvisational comedy.
