Tooth Fairy With Dwayne Johnson

Derek Thompson (portrayed by Dwayne Johnson) is a prominent local Ice Hockey player known as ‘The Tooth Fairy’ due to his strong defensive skills on the ice. However, as he ages, younger athletes are starting to overshadow him. Among these newcomers is Mick Donnelly, who frequently reminds Derek of his diminishing status while pursuing a successful career. Derek is in a relationship with Carly (played by Ashley Judd), who has two children a daughter and a son.

When the daughter loses a tooth, she eagerly anticipates the visit from the real tooth fairy who will exchange her tooth for a dollar under her pillow. Derek believes that it is unrealistic to hold onto dreams, as most people do not achieve them and end up dissatisfied. He candidly informs her that fairies and other mythical beings are not real. Carly intervenes to protect her daughter from this harsh reality and rebukes Derek for his insensitivity.

That evening, Derek receives a notice from the ‘Department of Dissemination of Disbelief’ in Tooth Fairy Land, assigning him the role of a tooth fairy for two weeks, with the warning that his punishment could be extended if he does not embody the spirit of the job. Upon realizing that this situation is genuine, Derek’s life undergoes a significant transformation. He starts to embrace the concept of magical tooth fairies and strives to improve himself. Ultimately, he proposes to Carly, who accepts, and the children also grow fond of him.
